DAVAO CITY — In a major step forward for youth healthcare and rights in Mindanao, the Family Planning Organization of the Philippines (FPOP) – Davao Chapter officially opened its new Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (ASRH) Clinic in Davao City on Saturday, May 16.
The launch marks an important milestone in providing young people with the essential resources, education, and medical support they need to make informed decisions about their futures. Backed by advocates and international supporters alike, the new facility represents a collective push to break down societal stigmas surrounding youth healthcare.
Navigating sexual and reproductive health can be a daunting experience for teenagers and young adults due to deeply rooted taboos. The newly inaugurated Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (ASRH) Clinic aims to dismantle these barriers by offering a safe, confidential, and entirely youth-friendly environment.
