QUEZON CITY, Philippines — The University of the Philippines Diliman campus was transformed into a sea of vibrant colors and high energy on Saturday, June 27, 2026, as thousands gathered for the annual Lovelaban: Pride PH Festival. The massive event drew members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies to celebrate diversity and demand systemic equality.

The Family Planning Organization of the Philippines (FPOP) actively participated in both the advocacy march and the community expo, blending celebration with proactive healthcare. The organization provided free, confidential HIV screening and counseling to hundreds of festival-goers throughout the day, aiming to break down barriers to essential reproductive healthcare.

“Lovelaban is more than just a celebration—it’s a reminder of why we fight for acceptance,” an FPOP representative stated, emphasizing that true equality includes unrestricted access to healthcare.

As the festival concluded, FPOP reiterated its long-term mission in the community. Moving forward from the event, the organization stated it remains true in its ongoing commitment to championing and protecting the sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of the LGBTQIA+ community across the country.
